Uroczyste promocje habilitacyjne i doktorskie 2024 na UŁ dobiegły końca

Habilitation and doctoral promotions at the University of Lodz have come to an end. Sixteen ceremonial promotions took place. They were divided into 3 fields of science and 19 scientific disciplines. Twenty one scientists received Habilitation Diplomas, and 149 scientists Doctoral Diplomas.

A total of 170 University of Lodz scientists were promoted in the following disciplines:

  • biological sciences

  • sociology,  
  • social and economic geography and spatial management,  
  • Earth and related environmental sciences 
  • management and quality studies

  • arts studies
  • history 
  • archaeology 
  • philosophy

The number of scientists who received Habilitation and Doctoral Diplomas in 2024 by individual faculties of the University of Lodz, is as follows:

  • Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection: 7 Habilitation Diplomas and 34 Doctoral Diplomas 
  • Faculty of Chemistry: 2 and 8, respectively. 
  • Faculty of Economics and Sociology: 2 and 18, respectively
  • Faculty of Philology: 3 and 15   
  • Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics: 1 Doctoral Diploma
  • Faculty of Philosophy and History: 5 Habilitation Diplomas and 14 Doctoral Diplomas
  • Faculty of Geographical Sciences: 1 and 4, respectively 
  • Faculty of Educational Sciences: 7 Doctoral Diplomas
  • Faculty of Law and Administration: 16 Doctoral Diplomas
  • Faculty of International and Political Studies: 4 Doctoral Diplomas
  • Faculty of Management: 1 Habilitation Diploma and 28 Doctoral Diplomas
