Kurs zatytułowany jest “The Contribution of Military Orders in Peripheral Territories to Boosting European Globalization (12th – 16th centuries) – 2nd Edition”.

Dates:
The dates selected for the programme are the following:
- 17th March 2025: Virtual component (before mobility) – 2.5 hours (1:00 pm / 13:00 Portuguese time)
- 24th to 28th March 2025: Physical mobility (plus at least two travel days) – 20 hours
- 11th April 2025: Virtual component (after mobility) – 2.5 hours (1:00 pm / 13:00 Portuguese time)
BIP Programme includes:
- Social programme (all excursions and visits)
- Lunches (5 days) and 1 Welcoming Dinner
Accommodation
Students: The Organising Committee will provide participants with assistance in finding suitable accommodation. Special prices are being negotiated with reputable hostels in Porto’s historic centre and nearby hotels.
Who can participate:
Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students
Recruitment:
- Each partner university should establish the maximum number of students it can fund with an Erasmus+ grant.
- Each institution should announce the BIP to potential departments and students.
- Interested students should reply to their International Office and, if applicable, each institution selects the students they can fund.
How to apply:
- The partners should then send the names and emails of the selected students to the BIP Contact Person (Ms. Carla Augusto: caugusto@letras.up.pt).
- Nomination Deadline: 28th February 2025
- After recruitment and selection ()if applicable), we will then provide students with the necessary information about formalities, accommodation, definitive BIP programme, cultural agenda, etc.
Funding:
- Funding of participants in these BIPs must be provided by the sending HEIs from their own Erasmus+ KA131 funds. Please contact your International Office to confirm that the Erasmus+ funding is available.
- The basic funding rules are the following:
- The University of Porto, as coordinating institution, is awarded funding from its KA131 Erasmus+ funds for organisational support, i.e., for the local organisation of the BIP (but cannot fund the incoming participants).
- The sending institutions have to obtain funding from their overall KA131 Erasmus+ funds to offer mobility grants for the students and staff who will participate in the BIP.
How much funding is required:
- STUDENTS: 70 euros per day x minimum 5 days + 2 travel days
- Erasmus+ Short-Term PhD Mobilities are also eligible.
Costs:
Incoming students are responsible for their travel, accommodation and subsistence costs, excluding the activities included in the BIP programme.
